Kicking off the Lyric and Music Development Workshops in Malta

On Wednesday 7th May and Thursday 8th May, we kicked off the next phase of the project as the VOCA Choir in Malta welcomed Ricardo Baptista from Ondamarela and the Artistic Director of the project Tim Steiner to lead the lyric and music development workshops - the first steps to reach our ultimate goal of writing an original choral song to promote mental health and raise awareness about it.
The workshops were a huge success and all participants from the VOCA Choir actively contributed to the exercises prepared with great enthusiasm! Two excellent evenings bursting with energy, creativity and, above all, music.
This coming week Ondamarela and Tim Steiner will be jetting off to Spain to meet our fellow participants from the Voces Blancas del Nalón choir! Stay tuned for more as we share with you their experience.
